IFM Kakching observes 2nd foundation day

Kakching, January 25 2026: Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM), Kakching, celebrated its 2nd foundation day on Sunday at Hiyanglam Keithel in Kakching district.

The event was attended by Irabot Foundation Manipur, Kakching District Branch president Elangbam Somorendro; Irabot Foundation Manipur president Khunjamayum Gopen Luwang; Senior Medical Officer, CMO Office Kakching, Dr Elangbam Kiran; Firm Manager of KVK Thoubal, Waikhom Jiten Singh; and Firm Manager, Fishery Department, Md Serajuddin, among others as presidium members.

As part of the programme, three progressive farmers were felicitated in recognition of their contributions to the agriculture sector.

The awardees were Haobijam Sobha of Kakching Khunou; Sapam Lukhoi of Wabagai Thingel Leikai; and Elangbam Ongbi Ranithoi of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai.

They were honoured with shawls and cash prizes for their successful efforts in farming.
