Pre-Launch Ceremony of NEIR 2026 held

Imphal, December 24 2025: The Pre-Launch Ceremony of the North East Integration Rally (NEIR) 2026 was held at Countryside Retreat, Lamshang on Wednesday, marking a major milestone toward the grand rally scheduled for 2026 .

The ceremony was organised by the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) Foundation.

Speaking at the event, KRC Foundation's managing trustee Biswadeep Gupta outlined the concept and vision of NEIR, along with its upcoming campaigns, cultural activities, and outreach programmes designed to promote unity and collaboration among the North Eastern States.

"NEIR is a month-long non-competitive car and motorcycle journey designed to foster integration and promote sustainable development across all the eight North Eastern States", he added.

He also asserted that the rally aims to build bridges between communities, promote national awareness of the region's beauty and challenges, and reshape perceptions of the North East.
