Sapta Shakti Sangam 2026 held at Kakching

Sapta Shakti Sangam 2026, a nationwide initiative aimed at empowering women and fostering social harmony, was held on Wednesday at Bal Vidya Mandir, Kakching.
The programme was organised by the Vidya Bharti Shiksha Vikas Samiti, Manipur.
The function commenced with floral tributes offered to the portrait of Bharat Mata.
Speaking on the occasion, E Priyobati, co-convenor of the Sapta Shakti Sangam State Committee, Manipur, said that the initiative, conducted across the country, seeks to strengthen the role of women in society.
She emphasised that women play a vital role in preserving culture and traditions in every State.
She further noted that women should uphold the seven virtues associated with them since birth and contribute towards guiding society on the path of truth and progress.
L Rashesori, convenor of the Sapta Shakti Sangam State Committee, Manipur, also addressed the gathering and underscored the significant role of women in building a progressive society.
The event was attended by T Sumita, co-convenor of the Sapta Shakti Sangam State Committee, Manipur; Kirankumar, principal of Bal Vidya Mandir Kakching, and several other women.
Mothers who have given birth to more than four children were also felicitated with gifts during the programme.
