CAU VC launches poster for Agri vision 2025

Imphal, July 18 2025: Dr Anupam Mishram, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, on Thursday launched the poster for the upcoming 9thNational Convention of Agri vision, to be held at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi on July 27 & 27, 2025.The launch event was also graced by Prof Indira Sarangthem, Dean, College of Agriculture, CAU, Imphal; Dr LM Gamayak, Director of Research, CAU, Imphal; Dr Tilak R Sharma, Registrar, CAU, Imphal; and Bhagwat Singh Rajawat, state organising secretary, ABVP Manipur along with faculty, students and staff members.

The 9th National Convention will be held on the theme, "Empowered Youth - Prosperous Agriculture: Skill, Innovation and Entrepreneurship" .

During the event, Dr Mishra highlighted the importance of such platforms to empower young minds and researchers together in shaping the roadmap for agricultural transformation.

"The two- day event will include thematic sessions focused on key areas such as climate smart agriculture, digital technologies and agriinnovations, agri skills for youth empowerment, agri-preneurship, crop protection for sustainable agriculture, etc", he added.

In addition to revealing the conference's visual identity, the poster launch event reinforced the collaborative and innovative spirit that the conference aims to promote.
