Imphal, November 16 2025: The Prize Distribution Ceremony of the 2nd State Level Maths & Science Competition organised by the NextGen Foundation, Thoubal was held today at Centenary Hall, Manipur University, Canchipur.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Thokchom Radheshyam.

MLA, Heirok AC; Khumanthem Diana Devi, Director, Transport Department, Manipur; Dr Somen Laishram, proprietor, SUR Hospital; Dr N Shreth Congtham, managing director, SCI Pvt Ltd (Biophone); Babita Sapam, secretary, RVS Wangbal; and Sapam Jiten Singh, Nodal Officer, Sareng Project, Department of Fishery, Manipur.

The competition, held on September 7, 2025 at six venues, witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 4000 students of classes I to X .

During the ceremony, cash awards along with certificates were presented to the top three students.

Consolation prizes were also presented to students who secured 4th-10th ranks.

The NextGen Best Student 2025 award was presented to Ryan Thokchom of KM Blooming Higher Secondary School while the NextGen Top Scorer awards were given to Huidrom Tomthinganba Meitei of Eram Tutorial and Sougrakpam Diamond Meitei of JNV Umathel.

The NextGen Best School 2025 award was presented to JNV, Umathel.
