BJP gains strength in Sagolband as new members join party

Imphal, March 15 2026: In a significant political development, a large number of people from different wards and localities have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Sagolband AC.

Welcoming the new entrants, RK Imo expressed optimism for more joinings and united efforts toward Sagolband's advancement and a peaceful Manipur.

He reiterated that over the last 14 years as a legislator, sincere efforts have been made to bring meaningful changes in basic infrastructure and essential public amenities.

He also highlighted key improvements: road dividers and lighting on stretches like Wahengbam Leikai to Keishampat and Tera for safer travel; extra transformers to curb power cuts; durable solar street lights in interiors; extended waterpipelines for reliable supply; and the constituency's first Urban Primary Health Centre, enhancing primary care access.
