Thoubal, February 14 2026: A "Hindu Sammelan" (conference) was organised by Hindu Sammelan Samiti Thoubal Nagar at Super Star Club Ground, Thoubal Awang Leikai today.

The conference was conducted with the objective of stressing on social unity, cultural awareness and religious identity.

Notable dignitaries present include Prant Sanghchalak Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Manipur Narayan Babu Singh, Pracharak Pramukh Assam Kshetra MM Ashokan, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Manipur RK Radhamohon Singh, Directorate of AYUSH Government of Manipur Director Dr AK Lokendro Singh, Director and Hindu Sammelan Samiti, Thoubal Nagar convenor A Krishna Kumar Sharma as the presidium members.

Highlights of the event include the offering of floral tributes before a portrait of "Bharat Mata" and performance of devotional songs.

Speaking as a resource person, Narayan Babu Singh said that the conference conducted across different localities is a part of RSS 100 years celebration.

Hindu Sammelans will be conducted across the 60/70 sub-divisions in the State by February 20, he added.
