Kakching, September 12 2026: In line with the ongoing health card distribution initiative, Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) cards were distributed to 1040 residents of Langmeidong Maning and Mamang Leikai under Langmeidong Gram Panchayat in Hiyanglam Assembly Constituency yesterday.

The health card distribution programme was held at Peace Public community hall in Langmeidong Mamang Leikai.

With an aim to ease the burden of healthcare treatments among impoverished households, ABPMJAY card enrolment and distribution drive has been taken up by the State Health Agency, Department of Health & Family Welfare in coordination with National People's Party(NPP) Manipur State Unit Secretary Organization, Maibam Dhanabir in Hiyanglam AC.

Speaking at the card distribution programme, Maibam Dhanabir emphasized that ABPMJAY cards cover health benefits upto Rs 5 lakh annually and it provides relief in times of expensive health treatments among the needy households.

He also enlisted the benefits of PMJAY card and appealed to all to avail the benefits of this flagship health care initiative taken up by the Government.
