Imphal, September 12 2025: The Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC), an autonomous body of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Manipur, has announced the recipients of the "Science Popularisation/Science Communication/Innovation Awards" for the year 2024.As per a release issued by Dr Kh Rakesh, Director of MASTEC, the awards for the year 2024 will be presented to three outstanding individuals based on the recommendations of the Selection Committees.

The 'Dr Pravabati Science Popularisation Award 2024' will be presented to Adhikarimayum Gitchandra Sharma of Brahmapur Aribam Leikai while the 'State Science Communicator Award 2024' will be given to Sanjenbam Jugeshwor Singh of Khoijuman Ward No 1.The 'Dr Ibeyaima Innovation Award 202' will be given to Wangkheimayum Paikhomba of Wangkhei Wangkheimayum Leikai.

The awards include a citation, memento and cash incentives.

The date and time for distribution of the award will be intimated to the awardees soon.
