International Day of the Girl Child: Awareness lecture conducted

CCpur, October 11 2025: On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Indian Army organized a "Health and Hygiene Awareness Lecture" at Phoenix School, Vangoiphai Village, Churachandpur in line with its commitment to community welfare and empowerment.

As per a statement, the event aimed to promote collective action to ensure every girl can reach her full potential.

The session emphasized the importance of health, hygiene, education, and self confidence among young girls.

An interactive lecture by the Army Medical Officer covered essential topics such as personal hygiene, menstrual health, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.

The participants, including students and local women, actively engaged in discussions and expressed appreciation for the initiative.
