Imphal, July 11 2025: 27-year old Arvind Moirangthem from Bishnupur has recently been selected as a Civil Service Officer under the local Government in East Sussex County, UK as a part of the Brighton and Hove City Council.

He officially joined the Council on July 8, 2025 .

Arvind was bom on June 6, 1998 in Keibul Lamjao, Thanga, Bishnupur to Moirangthem Asnikumar Singh and Dhamabati Devi as the second child out of four.

The young man who is serving as a Customer Grievance Redressal Officer holds a Master's Degree in Governance, Development, and Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, UK (2023-2024) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

Prior to joining the local Government in the UK, he also served as an Education Assistant at Chailey Heritage Foundation (April 2025 - July 2025) and briefly worked as a Face-to-Face Fundraiser for Sustrans UK (March 2025 - April 2025) .

Reflecting on his journey, Arvind expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents and went on to highlight the limitless potential of Manipur's youth to make meaningful contributions across the globe.
