DC Noney launches emergency response application 'NoDERA'

Noney, May 11 2026: Vidyamri Sridhar, Deputy Commissioner of Noney and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), today launched the Noney District Emergency Response Application, popularly known as the "NoDERA App", at the DC Conference Hall in the district headquarters.

The launching programme was attended by District Level Officers (DLOs) of the district.

The android-based application was developed with the objective of ensuring immediate action and facilitating easy communication with the district administration during natural calamities and emergencies.

DC Sridhar informed that the NoDERA App has been designed to enhance real-time monitoring, coordination and emergency response to various incidents such as floods, landslides, fire accidents, hailstorms, cyclones and mental health emergencies including suicide prevention within the district.

He urged the people of Noney district to make use of the application and promptly report emergencies through SMS, email or by contacting the helpline number +91 81201 33717.He further stated that the application also contains safety posters and guidelines highlighting the dos and don'ts to be followed during different types of emergencies and disasters.

The NoDERA App is available for download on the Google Play Store.
