Lions International District 322D convenes 3rd Cabinet Meeting, GAT Conclave

Lions International District 322D successfully conducted its 3rd Cabinet Meeting for the Lionistic Year 2025-2026 today at the Hotel Classic Grande in Imphal.
Jointly hosted by the Lions Club of Imphal Valley and the Lions Club of Canchipur, the day's proceedings also featured a comprehensive Global Action Team (GAT) Conclave.
The event drew a significant gathering of dedicated members from across Upper Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur, fostering a spirit of regional cooperation and service excellence.
District governor Lalit Kumar Kothari officially presided over the session, delivering the opening remarks and a keynote address that highlighted the district's ongoing commitments and future vision.
A notable highlight of the formal programme was the release of the second issue of the "Eastern Lion" edition, a publication documenting the district's impactful initiatives.
The event was also attended by immediate past district governor Th Kesho Singh and past district governors Prof W Gopimohan, M Gojendra Singh, and Haobam Manikumar, alongside various other senior lion leaders.
The conclave focused heavily on strategic planning and accountability through detailed reports presented by the Global Action Team coordinators.
Sanatombi Lourembam outlined the GLT Action Plan, while Dr Romi Singh and Om Prakash Pachhar shared updates on GMT initiatives.
Further strategic insights were provided by GET coordinators Din Dayal Jindal and N Birendra Singh, followed by GST Action Plan reports from Neeta Agarwal and P Rajmani Singh.
The meeting concluded with specialized reports from district chairpersons regarding vital humanitarian pillars.
Updates were provided on the Karmayogi Award, Lions Quest, and Leo Clubs, as well as critical focus areas such as LCIF Grants, Hunger relief, Pediatric Cancer support, and Youth Exchange Camps.
