Kakching, September 10 2026: A series of educational promotional activities was held at Government Aided Primary School, Joupi in Chandel district organised by the Assam Rifles.

The programme brought together students, teachers and personnel of Assam Rifles, creating a platform to highlight the importance of literacy, education and holistic development, said a press release by the Assam Rifles.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the children in debate, painting and essay writing competitions, which encouraged them to showcase their creativity, sharpen communication skills and develops a deeper interest in learning.

An interactive session was also held, where students learnt about the role of Assam Rifles and the armed forces in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The discussion underscored the values of security, harmony, responsible citizenship and collective participation in building a progressive society.

The initiative reinforced the significance of education as a powerful tool for personal and social advancement.
