Bishnupur, January 10 2026: Rinku Bhattacharjee Das, PhD Candidate in Manipuri Dance at Arizona State University, distributed essential items and extended financial aid to the IDPs at Oinam College Relief Camp.

It is worth noting that the Kolkata resident had showcased a Manipuri dance and video depicting the hardships of the conflict affected people of Manipur, including children and the contributions of womenfolk and meira paibis in America.

Today's aid initiative was sponsored by people working in the USA and other dance artists.

The event was attended by Major Motimala Ngangom retd NCC Officer and Associate Professor GP Women's College; Sohini Roy, eminent Manipuri dancer; Kshetrimayum Anita, social activist and Dr Urmika Maibam, cultural and social activist.
