Workshop / production on 'Penagi Leichan' concludes

Imphal, September 07 2026: The 10-day workshop cum production on "Penagi Leichan" organised by Salairen Cultural Research Institution at Leishemlon Marup Community Hall, Singjamei Chingamakha Oinam Leirak under the CMAT Scheme 2025-26, concluded today at Manipur College Multipurpose Hall.

Joint Director, Art and Culture, Government of Manipur G Dharmadas Sharma, Phanjoubam Iboton, retired Pradhan Guru, JN Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal, Yumnam Sadananda, Director, Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory, Imphal and Sanoujam Chandramani attended as chief guest, guests of honour and president respectively.

As part of the programme, the production "Penagi Leichan" was presented.

More than 30 artistes took part in the workshop cum production.
