Imphal, September 05 2025: Lainingthou SanamahiTempleBoard(LSTB) observed "Khelchanglon Maru Hunkhiba Numit' at its complex in Haying Khongban Uphong Yumpham.

Imphal on September 5, the 13th day of Manipur Lunar month Langban.

The observation was graced by prominent personalities, including Prof Paonam Gunindro, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University of Culture; Vidyapati Senjam, vice president, LSTB; LSTB board members Maisnam Shivadutta Luwang, Keisam Ibomcha Mangang and Namoijam Tomba Mangang.

During the event, the "Maichou Konok Thengra Khelchanglon Ningsing Mana" was presented to eight outsanding individuals namely Oinam Shyamnanda of Taothong Ayungba Mamang Leikai, Wangkheimayum Homendro of Wangkhei Wangkheimayum Leirak, Elam Shyamkishwor of Takyel Kolom Leikai, Thongbam Premjit of Wahengkhuman Maning Leikai, Soubam Budha of Thoubal Achouba Keithel Makha, Naorem Rajen Mangangcha of Kakching Wairi Salam Leikai, Ahambijit Sairem of Uripok Yaambem Leikai and Konsam Jiten of Khurai Kongpal.

The event was marked by discussion on "Khelchanglon" and offering of tributes to Maichou Konok Thengra.
