KASSL marks 3rd foundation day at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai

Thoubal, December 29 2025: The Kshetri Leikai Semgat Sagat Lup (KASSL), Thoubal, celebrated its 3rd foundation day on Monday at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai with a series of community-oriented activities.

According to a release issued by the KASSL, the highlight of the programme was the presentation of an activity report outlining the initiatives undertaken by the organisation over the past three years since its formation, along with its future plans and proposed activities.

As part of the celebration, blankets were distributed to senior citizens of the locality.

The organisation also honoured two individuals of their notable contributions towards the development of the locality and the welfare of residents.

The event was attended by Ward Councillor of the locality, Puyam Jote; Ibudhou Khamlangba Lai Selungba Chanambam Jatra Singh; Lai Thougallup president Asem Iboton; KASSL president Maibam Ibomcha; AT Unit 1 commander Okram Ibaicha; Kshetri Leikai VDF Outpost Commander Somorjit; and KAMPL president Kshetrimayum Tampha, among others, who were present as presidium members.

More than 300 residents of the locality actively participated in the programme, making the foundation day celebration a successful and memorable occasion.
