Imphal, December 28 2025: Three books written by Dr Thounaojam Babina Devi and Thounaojam Somokanta Luwang were released today in a function held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The books are- "Pedagogy of Manipuri Language" coauthored by Dr Babina and Thounaojam Somokanta; "Telangka" and "Emotional Intelligence" written by Thounaojam Somokanta.

The function was graced by dignitaries, including Karam Shyam, MLA, Langthabal AC; Dr Toijam Tampha, former Head, Department of Manipuri, Manipur University; and Khuraijam Loken Singh, MLA, Wangoi AC.

Moreover, Progressive.

Writers Association also organised a book release function at Manipur Press Club, Imphal today.

The function was graced by Prof Rajen Toijamba, convenor, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Ibosana Khuman, president, Progressive Writers Association Manipur presidium members.

During the function, book titled "Wahang amadi Kurak" written by Moirangthem Dinakanta was released.

Dr Mayanglambam Sadananda, Assistant Professor, DM University gave a brief introduction review of the book.
