10-day Kang Khubam Eshei workshop concludes at Moirang

Moirang, July 27 2026: A 10-day workshop-cum-production programme on Kang Khubam Eshei, organised by the Temple of Art & Culture Centre, Moirang Khoiru Leikai, concluded today at Moirang Phaorembam Leikai Mandop.

The workshop was organised with the objective of promoting and preserving the traditional art form of Manipur, which is gradually fading away.

The valedictory function was attended by Moirang AC MLA Thongam Shanti as chief guest, MKPF chief advisor Y Modhu as president and former Moirang Municipal Council councillor Ph Bheigyabati as guest of honour.

As part of the concluding programme, artists of the centre presented Kang Khubam Eshei, enthralling the gathering and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the traditional art form.
