Imphal, November 26 2025: In a continued effort to strengthen civil-security forces relations, support the local entrepreneurs and self-employment initiatives, 69 Battalion CRPF, Mantripukhri under the aegis of Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF on Wednesday distributed 8 piglets to Lamkan Piggery, a local entrepreneur of Mantripukhri.

The piglets were distributed as part of the CRPF's Civic Action Programme.

As per a release issued by CRPF, the initiative aims to provide financial support to local entrepreneurs who provide livelihood to local masses.

S A Rojan Zirnik, Commandant of 69 Battalion, handed over the piglets to Lamkan Satsang, owner of Lamkan Piggery, Mantripukhri.

Moreover, 34 Battalion CRPF also conducted a Civic Action programme at the 1st Battalion Manipur Rifles campus in Old Lambulane, Imphal today.

During the programme, Phrakyrwat Kharmujai, Commandant of 34 Battalion CRPF distributed 10 electric sewing machines (built-in stitches) to the Social Empowerment Alliance Society (SEAS), Old Lambulane.

Khoisnam Sarma Devi, Commandant, 1st Battalion MR; Ranjit Devi, teacher (tailoring); Ravindra Singh Tomar, 2 I/C, 34 Battalion CRPF; unit officers, SO's and jawans actively participated in the event.
