Traffic Police celebrate Manipur Police Raising Day, Ningol Chakkouba

Imphal, October 26 2025: As apart of the 134th Manipur Police Raising Day, the Traffic Control Police Wing celebrated Ningol Chakkouba at MG Avenue today.

The event was marked by a grand feast, presentation of appreciation certificates to officers and personnel and distribution of gifts to lady traffic police personnel.

Speaking on the occasion, Cecelia Sopemla, SP/TCP Wing highlighted the significant role of the Traffic Police as one of the most visible faces of the Manipur Police who work tirelessly under extreme weather to ensure smooth flow of traffic and safety for all road users.

The contribution of lady traffic police personnel, who perform their duties with dedication, patience and professionalism even in difficult situations was especially acknowledged and appreciated.

The celebration served as a reminder of the proud legacy of the Manipur Police, its continued service to the people for over 134 years and the spirit of trust and unity.
