Planned shutdown - Nambashi Feeder

Imphal, September 24 2025: The Manipur State Power Company Limited has informed to the general public that there will be a planned shut-down on September 25, 2025, for 11 KV Nambashi Feeder from 7 am to 4 pm for the purpose of erection of 33 KV line from 33/11KV Kasom Khullen S/S to 33/11KV Nambashi S/S .

During this shutdown, power supply to area service by 11KV Nambashi feeder will be affected.

In a separate release, MSPCL also informed that power supply of the 132 KV Loktak-Rengpang Transmission line continues to remain disrupted due to damage caused by lightning near the Rengpang Substation.

The MSPCL stated that upon inspection, insulator discs were found to be damaged, leading to interruption in power supply over the past few days.

MSPCL has assured that restoration work is underway on priority and is expected to take two to three days.

During this period, power supply will remain unavailable to large parts of Tamenglong and Noney (Rengpang) districts.
