CADA holds awareness on drugs

Imphal, July 24 2025: Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) conducted an academic awareness programme on drugs and liquor abuse at Integrated Manipur Academy, Malom Tulihal on Thursday.

A press release issued by CADA information & publicity secretary L Brojen Angomcha informed that the awareness programme was attended by CADA president Hijam Priyokumar, Nupi Samaj advisor Khundrakpam Indu and Integrated Manipur Academy principal Ngairangbam Milankumar as presidium members, while CADA vice president Ningthoujam Doren was the resource person.

In his address, Doren expressed concern that increasing number of people, including young and old, are using drug and liquor, often leading to tragic situation.

Stressing that time has come for all to join hands in protecting the future, he exhorted local clubs and meira paibi groups to contribute their mite in preventing drugs and liquor abuse.
