Imphal, May 24 2026: Two felicitation programmes were held today to honour meritorious students and achievers from different communities in Imphal.

The Mayai Lambi Development Organisation (MALDO) and New Young Sporting Club, Samurou, jointly organised the 11th Annual Felicitation Programme 2026 at Samurou Awang Community Hall this afternoon.

State Election Commissioner Mongjam Joy Singh attended as chief guest, while MALDO president Moirangthem Ibohal Singh presided over the function.

Dr Heisnam Mangiraj Mangang, former Deputy Director of Health Services, Manipur; Dr Nongmeikapam Achou Singh, MD, Mona Diagnostics; and Longjam Jaykumar Singh, Chief Conservator of Forests, were special guests of honour.

At the event, MALDO honoured high-scoring Class X and XII students from BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE within its operational area with cash awards.

The organisation also felicitated recent MPSC qualifiers and individuals who excelled in sports and literature.

Meanwhile, the Keisham Sagei Foundation Manipur held a felicitation programme at Hotel Tampha, North AOC, for 42 students of the Keisham Sagei who secured high marks in this year's Class 10 examination conducted by BOSEM.

Wangkhem AC MLA Keisham Meghachandra, Keisham Sagei Foundation vice president Mangangcha Keisham Ibomcha, Prof K Bheigyachandra, retired Art and Culture Director Dr K Sobita, and retired UBI Senior Manager Keisham Lokeshor attended as presidium members and presented mementos to the students.
