"AHOUBA 3.0" concludes with blast of tech & culture

Imphal, March 23 2026: The annual technical and cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Manipur, "AHOUBA 3.0", concluded today at the institute's campus in Mantripukhri.

The three-day event, themed "Gear 3: Leveling Up the Future", wrapped up with a ceremony that included presenting simple gifts to sponsors and partners, as well as live performances by guest bands, artists, and students.

Over the past two days, attendees were captivated by diverse performances including various dances and live music from artists such as Innocent Eyes, Yarshin Chanu, Bhaani Bhashin, DJ Tasha, Benita Laishram, Sorri Senjam, and Meewakching.

Preceding these cultural events were activities like anime culture and cosplay, hardware design challenges, tech gaming, coding, and other technical competitions held on Saturday and Sunday.

Jenita Leimapokpam, a B Tech Computer Science Engineering student at HIT, Manipur, said that AHOUBA 3.0 aimed to show students that Manipur's tech scene is on the rise.

The fest gave young talent a chance to check out IIIT's facilities and potential, she added.
