Imphal, September 22 2025: Lions Club of Imphal Central organised its annual Peace Poster Contest at Millennium School, Patsoi Block today.

As per a release issued by Lions Club of Imphal Central, the "Peace Poster Contest, 2025" was conducted in collaboration with Millennium School for children of the age group 11 to 13 years.

The valedictory function held in the evening was graced by Lions Club oflmphal Central president, Oinam Jibanchandra Singh; K James, Principal, Millennium School; W Sadananda Singh, cartoonist, Poknapham Daily Newspaper; and programme chairperson Dr Potsangbam Jashawanta Singh as presidium members.

Out of the 28 participants, Shileima Naorem, a Class VII student of Millennium School was declared as the winner of the contest.

Venessa Salam and Salam Veninda secured the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

Cash awards donated by Lukram Romen Singh in the memory of his father Late Lukram Surendro Singh, and elder brothers Late Lukram Pritam Singh and Late Lukram Kendrabir Singh were awarded to the top three winners.

Further, cash awards donated by past club president Thokchom Ranbir Singh in the memory of his father Late Thokchom Joykumar Singh were also awarded to the children who secured 4th to 10th positions.
