Noney, October 21 2025: The Zeliangrong Union Longmai Zone successfully conducted its election today at NG Hall, Longmai Bazar, in Noney District Headquarters.

As per a release issued by the Zeliangrong Union Longmai Zone, the election was organized under the supervision of the Zeliangrong Union Central Executive officials.

Pousinglung Kamei, former secretary of ZU (AMN), served as the Retaining Officer, while Agui Kamei functioned as the Recording Secretary, with Abuan Dangmei presiding the program.

In the newly elected executive body, Gangchei Gangmei of Longmai Village was elected as Zone Chairman, and Anthony Kamei of Awangkhul village as Zone Secretary, while M Kanamsin (Bitiang Village) and M Chunkeilung (Rangkhung Village) were elected as vice-chairmen.

The new team will serve a three year term from 2025 to 2028.Other office bearers include Adam Kamei as joint secretary, Akhao Dangmei as finance secretary, and Zakulung Gangmei as social & culture secretary.

In addition, five members were elected to serve as advisors to the Zone leadership.
