Wings of Hope releases activity summary; extends gratitude

Imphal, November 18 2025: Wings of Hope Charitable Trust today released its activity summary titled "Tales of Resilience of Our Ladies from the Nooks & Comers of the State" covering the humanitarian efforts of the Trust from September 2023 to November 2025 .

In a press release issued by president Lt Col L Manongba (retd), the Trust acknowledged the unwavering and decisive support of the Assam Rifles and the Radiant Group of Companies, both of whom have emerged as steadfast pillars strengthening its missions across Manipur.

The president also thanked coursemates from the National Defence Academy and many civilian donors and family members for their contributions.

It also added that under Operation Sadbhavana, the Assam Rifles provided machines, equipment, and materials worth approximately Rs 5 lakh to 19 widows and young trainees, representing 5 Self Help Groups across Oksu Ningthemcha, Senjam Chirang, Karong-Sangaithel, Khumbong, and Kangchup (Phayeng).

This assistance will enable SHGs to begin production in handicrafts, tailoring, candle-making, crochet work, and other home-based enterprises - giving true meaning to "Empowering the Widows" .
