Entrepreneurship Development Programme concludes

Imphal, May 18 2025: A 6-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme on "Making of Plastic Bags", organised by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Manipur concluded on Friday at Langol Relief Camp, Imphal.

The closing function was graced by dignitaries, including Kengoo Zuringla, Secretary, Science & Technology; Homila Hongrei, Director, Department of Science & Technology; TD Kom, Joint Director, Department of Science & Technology and Oinam Romen, member of Relief Camp Management Committee.

Speaking on the occasion, Kengoo Zuringla said that the entrepreneurship development programme was conducted with the objective to equip women staying in relief camps with the skills and knowledge needed to start and manage their own businesses.

She also exhorted the IDPs who participated in the programme to use the knowledge they gain from different experts wisely to become successful entrepreneurs.

Altogether, 50 displaced women participated in the 6-day programme.
