Imphal, July 17 2025: Civil Engineering Division of the Institution of Engineers (India), Manipur State Centre on Thursday felicitated engineer Takhellambam Sushanta Singh of Sega Road Takhel Leikai, who was recently appointed (promotion) as Joint General Manager and Head (Structural Steel), EDRC-Larsen and Toubro Construction B&F.The programme was organised by IEI Manipur State Centre under the sponsorship of PISATAO Constructions, to recognise Engineers from Manipur who have exceptional expertise in their relevant fields.

The programme was attended by L Swamikanta Singh, FIE, chairman; Dr Th Subhaschandra Singh, MIE, honorary secretary; H Bharat Meitei, AMIE, joint honorary secretary; IEI Manipur State Centre Committee members and Corporate members of IEI.

Meanwhile, Kangleipak Students Association (KSA) on Thursday organised a felicitation programme in honour of Advocate Ningombam Angothoiba Meitei, who was elected as the new secretary of All Manipur Bar Association.

The programme held at Manipur Press Club was attended by Paonam Labango Mangang, editor of Kangla Pao; Birjit Tourangbam, consultative member of UCM & COCOMI; and Sukham Bidyananda, president of KSA as presidium members.
