Imphal, July 15 2026: The Manipur Electricity Regulatory Commission, MnERC has published the draft Manipur Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grid Interactive Distributed Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2026 for public information.

A public notice issued on July 14 stated that the draft has been released under Section 181(3) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Rule 3 of the Electricity (Procedure for Previous Publication) Rules, 2005 .

The Commission has invited objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected.

Written submissions may be sent to the Secretary, MnERC, Room No 55-56, 1 st Floor, South Block, Civil Secretariat, Mantripukhri, Imphal, or e-mailed to [email protected] on or before August 4, 2026 .

Late submissions may not be considered.

The draft Regulations are available on the Commission's website www.mnerc.mn.gov.in and can also be inspected at the Commission office during working hours.

The Commission will consider the draft and responses received on or after August 5, 2026 .
