Kakching Khunou College conducts Students' Induction programme

Kakching, July 15 2025:
Kakching Khunou College successfully organised a Students' Induction programme for the newly admitted students of the 2025-26 academic session.
The event, held at the college auditorium was aimed at familiarising students with the institutions' facilities, rules, and academic environment, with a special focus on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 .
The programme was graced by O Binoy Singh, principal of Kakching Khunou College as chief guest; M Iboyaima Singh, Academic in-charge of the college as functional president and M Suren Singh, Head of the Geography Department, as guest of honour.
The induction programme featured six informative sessions conducted by experienced resource persons from the college faculty.
The session covers- i) National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, ii) Library and Scholarship Facilities, iii) Vocational & Computer Courses, iv)ABC enrolment, v)College Code of Conduct, vi) Sports and Co-curricular activities, and vii)Women's Grievance Cell & other facilities.
Speaking at the event, Principal O Binoy Singh warmly welcomed the new batch of students and emphasised the college's commitment to fostering a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment that supports the all-round development of students.
The programme concluded successfully, with students expressing appreciation for the comprehensive orientation, which will help them navigate their new academic journey at Kakching Khunou College.
