Yoga, meditation session conducted for CAPFs

Kangpokpi, May 13 2025:
Special sessions on Yoga and meditation were conducted at the Motbung post of C/112 Bn CRPF and Brig Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi on May 12 and 13 respectively in an initiative to promote mental well-being and stress management among the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
The sessions were led by Narinder Anand and Sweta Anand, both assistant professors from Amrita Vish-wa Vidyapeetham, Kerala.
The two sessions combined theoretical insights with practical demonstrations, focusing on stress reduction and mental clarity - crucial for personnel operating under high-pressure environments.

Organised under the leadership of 112 Bn CRPF commandant, the sessions witnessed participation from around 250 personnel of 112 Bn and 94 Bn CRPF, along with E/131 Bn BSF.
Senior officers present included Ranjan Kumar Baruah (CO, 112 Bn), Hemant Kumar of Kangpokpi district administration, Dr Umashankar Verma (CMO), and officers of CRPF and BSF units.
