TAKL appreciates Govt for posting of EE in Kamjong

Kamjong, May 11 2026: Tangkhul Aze Katamnao Long (TAKL) has expressed gratitude to the Government of Manipur, particularly the Chief Minister, for the recent transfer and posting of Garnish Kashung as Executive Engineer of the PWD Kamjong Division.

In a statement, the organisation stated that the posting of a dedicated local officer to oversee infrastructure and developmental projects in Kamjong district was a timely and welcome decision, especially at a time when the prevailing situation in the State continues to pose challenges to administration and developmental activities.

The student body said that the people of Kamjong highly appreciate the initiative as regular supervision and monitoring of developmental works remain essential for the welfare and progress of the district.

TAKL further acknowledged the dedication, professionalism and efficiency demonstrated by Garnish Kashung during his earlier tenure in the department.

The organisation expressed confidence that his experience and technical expertise would greatly strengthen the functioning of the PWD Kamjong Division and contribute positively towards developmental activities benefiting the public.

The organisation also appreciated the efforts of the Government in addressing administrative matters with fairness and promptness, stating that such decisions help strengthen public confidence in the administration and encourage continued developmental progress in the region.
