Imphal, July 10 2025: N Irabanta Singh, retired Professor, Life Sciences, Manipur University and chairman of Nibiaa Group of Companies, has been conferred an honorary Doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) in the field of Education and Academic Entrepreneurship by the Iconic Peace Award Council, Delhi.

The honorary Doctorate was awarded to Prof N Irabanta Singh in recognition of his publications in print media (Sangai Express english edition) during 2015 to 2024 .

As per a release issued by Nibiaa Group of Companies, the honorary Doctorate was presented virtually on June 5, 2025 at Delhi.

Earlier, KTK Outstanding Achievers and Education Foundation, New Delhi had also presented the "Jewel of India Award" to Prof N Irabanta Singh on March 30, 2025, for his outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of entrepreneurship.
