CRPF organises Civic Action Programme

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen the bond between the Force and the localpopulace, organised a 'Civic Action Programme' at Karam Tadoi, Kangpokpi district.
The event conducted by the 158 BN CRPF, under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector of the CRPF, was led by Commandant Sanjay Negi of 158 Bn CRPF, in the presence of Achla Ram, 2nd IC; and the Commanding Officer of G/158 Bn; along with village authorities and local residents.
The initiative aimed at fostering goodwill, promoting mutual trust, and extending development support to the local community.
As part of the programme, eight sewing machines were distributed to the local villagers, accompanied by the commencement of a week-long training session.
In addition, four solar lights were installed at key locations within the village, to enhance safety and mobility after dark.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Sanjay Negi highlighted the importance of community cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony.
He reaffirmed CRPF's commitment to the socioeconomic development of people living in remote and sensitive areas.
