Imphal, July 05 2025: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Lilong Haoreibi College organised a Student Induction Programme (DEEKSHARAMBH) at the college's multipurpose hall today.

The programme aimed to welcome and orient new students to college life and academic values.

The event was attended by A Dhaneshwor Singh, HOD Physics Department, and A Sattar Shah, principal of Lilong Haoreibi College as presidium members.

Delivering the keynote address, A Robertson Singh, IQAC Coordinator, highlighted the importance of such an induction programme.

He noted that initiatives like these help students understand the institutional values and academic atmosphere while also boosting confidence in transitioning into college life.

In his presidential speech, Prof Md Sattar Shah acknowledged the infrastructural challenges faced by the colleges.

However, he expressed pride in the institution's continued excellence and achievements across various domains and therefore he encouraged students to engage actively with teachers and raised concerns to help shape a better society.
