Thoubal, October 04 2025: Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing observed the 37th death anniversary of Shrimat Paramhans Swami Jogendra Nandagiri accompanied with the release of the Manipuri translation of a Hindi book titled "Kat-thokchaba" .

The ceremony was held at the hall of Khorirol Sandoklup, Wangjing in the presence of president Tongbram Babulal and B Nabakishore Sharma, president, Hari Bhakta Samaj, Lamding-Wangj ing as the functional president and chief guest respectively.

Kicking off the event, B Nabakishore Sharma led the gathering in offering floral tributes to the portrait of the Swami and recently deceased writer Kabiraj Moirangthem Rajendra.

The gathering also observed a 2-minute silence in mourning.

Noted writer Bhorot Sanasam delivered the keynote address at the event.

Kat-thokchaba was translated to Manipuri by K Shyamsunder Sharma from Niru Agarwal's Hindi poetry collection titled "Sampama" .

The translator is a member of Divine Life Society, Khangabok Branch and hails from Khangabok Awang Leikai.

This is his second work.

Later, well-known writer Saikhom Chaoba spoke about the topic "Swami Jogendra Nandagiri and spiritualism" .
