BRC Collection Centre inaugurated

Imphal, October 03 2025: A Collection Centre for handloom and handicraft products was inaugurated today at Block Resource Centre (BRC), Pheijaleitong, Imphal East district.

Under the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) of the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), the collection center will act as an intermediary point for rural enterprises and Self Help Groups (SHGs) to bring their handloom & handicraft goods/products.

The centre will simplify the supply chain and provide access to a wider market that a single artisan might not be able to reach.

The inaugural function was attended by N Bandana Devi, State Mission Director, MSRLM and Secretary, Department of Skill, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship; Panganbam Ratna, Secretary, BRC; MSRLM officials and members of SHGs .
