KLAM invites books for Loinasillon Mana 2026

Imphal, September 02 2026: Kangleipak Loinasillon Apunba Marup (KLAM) has invited books for its annual and biennial Loinasillon Mana 2026 awards.

In a press release, KLAM said the books must be original works written in Meetei Mayek without transliteration and published between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2026.The awards which carry citation, shawl and cash prize will be presented on the 25th Foundation Day of KLAM on February 9, 2027.The annual award is Haobam Sanajaoba (Haoba) Ningshing Loinasillon Mana 2026 for novels.

The biennial awards are Leishangthem Somananda Ningshing Loinasillon Mana 2026 for short stories, Kanglei Inat ki Mapari Keithellakpam Sanahongba Loinasillon Mana 2026 for book on indigenous culture, Moirangthem Rajendra Ningshing Loinasillon Mana 2026 for poetry book and Dr Saratchandra Longjamba and Sorojini Loinasillon Mana 2026 for research/ essay on linguistics.

Three copies of each book along with passport photo and author's bio-data should be submitted to KLAM head office at Singjamei Chirom Leikai by September 31, 2026.Interested persons may contact 7005710994/8794008958 for more details.
