Month-long Nupi Lan observation concludes

Imphal, December 31 2025: The month-long observation of Nupi Lan organised by Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur, came to a close today at Tera Keithel, Imphal.

The closing function was marked by offering floral tributes to the great mothers of the State who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the motherland.

Additionally, the 11th death anniversary of Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur's former president Late Kabrabam Ibempishak Devi was also observed.

At the event, speakers said that everyone should acknowledge the bravery of the Manipuri women who took part in two historic movements against mass exploitation and artificial famine triggered by the British.

They also stressed on the need for the present generation to remember the strength & sacrificial spirit of mothers of the yore and bravely face any threat to the integrity of Manipur.

Moreover, the All Manipur Nupi Marup (AMNM) on Wednesday concluded the month-long observation of 86th Nupi Lan at Irawat Bhawan, Imphal.

The AMNM and Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur also extended their New Year greetings to the people of Manipur and prayed for the coming year to bring joy & prosperity for everyone.
