Vendor development programme cum buyer seller meet held

The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSICL), Uripok Achom Leikai in association with Border Security Force, Head Quarter, Koirengei and Central Reserve Police Force organised a Vendor Development Programme cum Buyer Seller Meet at Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, Takyel Industrial Estate, Takyelpat, today.
The event was attended by SK Singh, Commandant 54 Battalion BSF, Koirengei, ND Mao, Commandant 182 Battalion, BSF, Koirengei, Munna Kumar Singh, Commandant, GC, CRPF Langjing, G Kamei, OSD, MSME, Directorate of Commerce and Industries, TN Singh, Assistant Director, MSME-DI Imphal and P Loken Singh, Manipur Industries Development Council.
Speaking on the occasion, NSICL's Sub Officer Imphal Manager, L Ibotombi said that the event was organised with the aim to provide a platform for the local self-employed individuals to sell their products through National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).
Products of local enterprises like clothes and edible items which are registered on NSIC were bought by security forces deployed in the State, he said and added that over 50 enterprises were invited to sell their products in today's meet.
He also stated that NSIC provides loan to business enthusiasts who lack the necessary capital.
