Bungdon Pabing Society honours meritorious students

The Bungdon Pabing Society organised its annual Hme-Amna Ru Piisumna Roram, 2026 programme on Saturday at Rungchang village in Chakpikarong sub-division of Chandel district, during which meritorious students from the Bungdon clan were felicitated for their academic achievements.
Delivering the welcome address, Bungdon Pabing Society president Bd Bengam highlighted the significance of such gatherings in fostering unity, mutual support and encouragement among members of the Bungdon clan.
He noted that the programme provided an important platform for strengthening bonds within the community.
Speaking on the occasion as resource person, Dr BD Shangningam Anal, Asst Professor at DMU and former scientist with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC), Govt of India, congratulated the students on their accomplishments, and urged them to pursue their dreams with determination and commitment.
She emphasized that hardwork, dedication and sincerity are essential ingredients for success in life.
She encouraged the students to follow their passions and choose academic subjects and career paths aligned with their interests and aspirations, maintaining that perseverance and consistent effort would ultimately lead to success.
Around 20 students from the Bungdon clan who successfully cleared the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE were felicitated during the event.
