Tamenglong, October 28 2025: Tamenglong Deputy Commissioner Dr L Angshim Dangshawa today chaired a meeting for the upcoming 18th Orange Festival at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Tamenglong Headquarter for ensuring smooth conduct of the festival.

The meeting was attended by key officials including Tamenglong SP Lanmiyo Luikham, SDO D Meidinbui, Chief Executive Officer of ADC Tamenglong Kachamthai F Gangmei, DFO Kh Hitler Tamenglong and various district levels officials of the Tamenglong district.

Chairman of the Orange Festival Dr L Angshim Dangshawa informed that the festival will be held from December 17 to 19.Altogether 22 sub-committees were formed for the smooth preparation and successful organisation of the Orange Festival.

The chairman of the Orange Festival informed the gathering to work diligently and sincerely for the grand success of the festival.

This year the 3 day festival includes a contest for the best orange growers, Orange Queen Contest, camping and adventure at different tourist spots, musical night, Tamenglong Got Talent, seminar for orange growers, etc .
