Fogging drive launched to combat Dengue at Moirang Mairembam Leikai

Moirang, October 27 2025: In a proactive move to curb the spread of mosquito-borne diseases, particularly Dengue, the Moirang Mairembam Leikai Youth Development Association (MYDA) in collaboration with the 32 Battalion CRPF Loktak Project conducted an extensive fogging operation in and around Moirang Mairembam Leikai on Monday.

The MYDA in a release stated that the initiative, undertaken under the slogan "Dengue Prevention Fogging for a Healthier Community", aimed to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds and create a safer environment for residents, with 32 Bn CRPF providing the fogging machines and chemical pesticides.

Expressing gratitude, the MYDA appreciated the cooperation and timely assistance extended by the CRPF.

The association also urged residents to adopt preventive measures, such as eliminating stagnant water and maintaining cleanliness in and around their homes, to control mosquito breeding.
