Imphal, January 27 2026: Ophthalmological Society of Manipur(OSM) organised the 7th edition of OSMACON at Hotel Imolesh on January 25.The conference was inaugurated by chief guest Dr N Hemanta Kumar, Director, Health Services.

Dr Kh Rajendra Singh, president, OSM; Dr Y Yaima and general secretary, OSM Dr Th Arun were also present on the occasion.

At the conference, Dr Hemanta Kumar highlighted the importance of eye transplant, cataract surgery and eye care in preventing visual impairments.

Scientific sessions at the conference featured expert talks, panel discussions and case presentations covering cataract, retina, glaucoma, paediatric ophthalmology and ocular imaging.
