Imphal, October 25 2025: Society for Eco-Restoration and Livelihood organised a one-day "Photography Exhibition on birds of Ikop Lake" at Popular Youth Club community hall, Khangabok Part-III today.

The exhibition, supported by the Wildlife Explorers Manipur, was attended by Thoubal DFO Dr Leishangthem Jeeceelee, Manipur University Department of Life Sciences Professor Ksh Lal Bihari, Wildlife Explorers Manipur president Khoyumthem Brajesh Kumar and Popular Youth Club president Saikhom Ibomcha Singh.

At the event, Wildlife Explorers Manipur president Khoyumthem Brajesh Kumar said the exhibition was organised to showcase rich bird diversity of the State, particularly of the Ikop Pat.

The exhibition was organised aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of conserving wildlife, he said.

People as a whole should take the responsibility to conserve the State's rich and diverse fauna, he added.
