Imphal, July 25 2026: AYUSH Hospital, established under Khongnangthaba University at Pangei, has announced free laboratory testing facilities for media persons.

Addressing a press conference at Khurai Konsam Leikai today, Laishram Imoba, Head of the Department of Manipuri at the university, said the hospital has also been providing free diabetes check-ups every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.

He said media persons in the State can avail themselves of the free laboratory testing facilities at the hospital from Monday to Saturday between 11 am and 4 pm.

Imoba added that appointments for laboratory tests, however, must be booked at least one day in advance.

He further stated that the university is working to secure job placements for students pursuing paramedical and AYUSH courses at Kangleipak Medical and Nursing Institute, not only in India but also abroad.

Dr Atom Sunil, Registrar of the university, also attended the press briefing.
