CAU's 30th Annual College Week begins

Imphal, October 24 2025: The 30th Annual College Week 2025 of the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal, was inaugurated at its campus today.

The annual college week will include events such as games, sports, literary, and cultural competitions.

Prof Indira Sarangthem, Director of Instructions, CAU, Imphal; Prof K Nandini, Dean, College of Agriculture, Iroisemba; Prof N Brajendra, organising secretary of the Annual College Week; Prof Ng Iboyaima, Dean, College of Food Technology, Lamphelpat; and Prof Ph Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension Education, CAU, Imphal attended the inauguration programme.

In her address, Prof Indira Sarangthem highlighted the importance of sports and cultural activities in developing leadership, discipline, and teamwork among students.

She encouraged all students to participate wholeheartedly and uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

As part of the inaugural programme, a march past competition was conducted among four houses - Emoinu, Phouoibi, Panthoibi, and Ereima.
